Mike Casey
Governor
Originally from the North West of England, living in Lytham St Annes, completed A-Levels in Geography, Biology and Business studies before graduating from Leeds University with a combined Physical Education and Geography Degree. I was also a member of the local Lifeboat crew whilst in Lytham and started volunteering as part of my Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. In 2002 I took up my first teaching post and have followed a career in school across the country before settling in the Midlands in 2016, where I became Deputy Head Pastoral at Repton Prep and later Hollygirt School Nottingham. I have a strong interest in Child Protection and Safeguarding and I am the current Safeguarding lead for British Water Ski and Wakeboard. I am keen to support the school and the Headmaster as I believe that they work to the same aims of creating a school that has a family friendly attitude at the heart of the village community.
